About
“Mr John Williams, junior” of the 1889 orchard case, who took over the farm on his father’s death in 1908. The Court of Appeal recites a yearly agricultural tenancy of the whole farm from February 1916; in May 1939 Western Ground Rents let him 5.30 acres “adjacent to Ty-Mawr farmhouse and Llwyn-yr-eryr” (DBDT/123/7). Our position is that he is the father of Mary (Nancy) Williams (b. 1913); the record held does not yet state it.
