About

The company that bought the Bute Cardiff ground rents in 1938 and became the farm’s landlord. In the record: the May 1939 letting of 5.30 acres to John Williams; the gift of about 109 acres of Leckwith Woods to Cardiff Corporation (offered 1940, completed April 1942); the 1949 tenancy to Frederick Buckler and the 1955 and 1962 possession orders, as the Court of Appeal recites them; and the conveyance of 31 December 1969 to BP Pension Trust Ltd.
